"Bush stories are part of every safari. With a life spent out of doors and 43 years in wildlife tourism, I have begun to record the anecdotes with which I have regaled clients over the years. These not only entertain; they provide an insight into the unpredictability of the bush and the behaviours of various animals. These stories around the campfire in convivial company are a pleasure to share. They remind us of our youthful energy and exuberance and of wilder times before Government restrictions changed forever the face of tourism. Despite this, each new safari has its excitement, photo opportunities and potential for new bush stories".
